November1953: Started operation of the first Sendzimir cold rolling mill imported to Japan

November1962: Completed rationalization of stainless steel strip manufacturing equipment (introduced Sendzimir cold rolling mill No. 2, skin pass mill, vertical bright annealing furnace)

September1980: Introduced Sendzimir cold rolling mill No. 6 (4 feet wide) to Itabashi Plant
October1981: Established electrical steel strips division
October1982: Established precision pipes division
January1983: Established Gifu Plant
July1985: Established press products division
July1986: Separated the electrical steel strips division, precision pipes division, and press products division, and transferred commercial rights to NIPPON KINZOKU SHOJI CO., LTD.
November1990: Established Fukushima Plant
June1991: Introduced high performance precision multi-stage rolling mill (KT mill) to Itabashi Plant
September1992: Introduced tension annealing furnace to Itabashi Plant
September1993: Introduced large flat bar manufacturing equipment to Gifu Plant
June1994: Introduced precision profile rolled product (Fine Profile) manufacturing equipment to Saitama Plant
